Following the success of the Festival of Media LatAm last year, Clear Channel Outdoor is proud to be sponsoring the Festival of Media Global. The event will be taking place on the 6-8 April 2014 with the Cavalieri Hotel in Rome, Italy playing host.
In a recent world first, Clear Channel Outdoor launched its interactive mobile advertising platform, Connect, representing a major development in the evolution of out-of-home media globally. CCO will be showcasing Connect’s full capabilities at the festival, enabling delegates to access a selection of festival content with a simple tap / scan of their mobile phone. Additionally, to demonstrate the power of digital out-of-home and its ability to enhance marketing communication with people when they are out and about, CCO digital totems will be on hand to display the festival agenda, Twitter feed and other real-time content throughout the event.
Along with Clear Channel Outdoor’s CEO William Eccleshare presenting the coveted 'Network of the Year' award at the annual awards ceremony, Clear Channel Communications’ CEO Bob Pittman will be one of the event’s key speakers. Bob will join Festival of Media Chairman, Charlie Crowe for an “In conversation with...” session, sharing his vision of the future of media and the role that technology is playing in transforming communications.
With "media" at its heart, the Festival will focus on content, technology, business innovation and future worlds. The award-winning actor Kevin Bacon will be headlining this year, and is expected to discuss the growth of his own personal brand in recent years, including his involvement in the EE marketing campaign.
